Here we have some crucial Techniques to Strengthen Your Website Security

1. Avoid using same passwords across multiple accounts

I’m sharing my own experience here, our entire life is now spent on social media, banking, email, shopping, and more. Many people have the practice of using the same passwords across multiple accounts. It is easier to remember, but if there is a security vulnerability on one account, everything could be compromised.

When you are choosing a password, you need to choose strong characters to make a stronger password. Don't use personal information or your pet’s information because it may help hackers to try and exploit more. In my case, I increased the password strength, I used different types of characters, symbols, and numbers. Now I’m safe.

2. Always backup your files

A single piece of malware attack has the potential to destroy your entire website beyond repair, that is unless you have been backing up your files. Save your important files by data backup in case of a system crash or hard drive failure occurs.

You can encrypt the backup file or the storage media for added security. Backup is the most reliable, easiest, and safest way to restore your lost files after data loss.

3. Keep your applications up-to-date

Don't forget to install software updates as soon as they are released.

Keep checking your plugin, software, and theme updates on a regular basis.
